About the 500 representatives of small and medium enterprises, business support organizations, government, as well as the international community of donors and financial institutions gathered in Kyiv on June 26 under the umbrella of the “National SME Development Forum 2018”, which focused on the development and growth of SMEs in Ukraine.
The forum was organized by the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry together with the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine within the framework of the project “EU4Business FORBIZ”.
Representatives of SMEs are invited to participate in this forum and get acquainted with international SME support projects and financial institutions, as well as discuss business prospects and existing opportunities for supporting its growth. During the event, participants will receive information on European instruments and business development mechanisms, as well as learn about effective financial instruments for SMEs from the banking sector.
Participants will also be able to participate in plenary discussions and seminars, where leading speakers and experts of SMEs will speak as speakers, who will give their recommendations and advice during the discussion, as well as share their experience in creating successful business models.
Participation in the forum will provide the opportunity to develop a network of unique professional contacts and increase the chances of developing a successful own business.
The forum takes place against the backdrop of a new government economic policy that pays more attention to SMEs. Thanks to the constant assistance of the international community and financial institutions, SMEs in Ukraine receive new opportunities for developing the business potential of the country.
